Focused on designing and building secure, modern, highly-scalable, highly-available applications using cloud native technologies. This ranges from migrating workloads to the cloud to building new greenfield applications, as well as building any deployment or operational automations needed to support them. My expertise is heavily focused around AWS, but includes software architecture and engineering more broadly.     • Lead client engagements: gathering requirements, designing solutions, engineering solutions, and delegating large project work to other engineers.

    • Designed and implemented a cloud migration for an e-commerce organization needing a more reliable integration platform. This had a heavy focus on observability to enable customer support teams to resolve issues quickly.

    • Lead a small software company's cloud journey to deliver better software to their local government and school customers. Built their landing zone and engineered solutions for their single-tenant approach. Defined their model for cloud native development and event-driven architecture.

    • Lead the engagement with a higher-ed client, primarily working with their Cloud Platform Services team. Mostly responsible for architecting security, compliance, and governance automations including automating the lifecycle of VDI images. Also provided training and enablement around better SDLC practices and CI/CD, primarily around GitHub and GitHub Actions.

    • One of the founding architects for the managed services practice at Caylent after the Trek10 aquisition. Architected the IAM system that helps Trek10 and Caylent manage employee access to customer accounts via SSO.
